Explore alum Sara Khiri is currently a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania, where she competes at the Division I level in track and field and cross country. Last year, she competed in the Ivy League Championships and earned a medal, marking an impressive milestone in her collegiate athletic career.
Alongside athletics, Sara is studying Political Science and Economics and plans to attend law school. She credits Explore with helping lay the foundation for her success:
“Penn would not have been possible without Explore instilling a great work ethic and dedication in chasing my dreams.”
Reflecting on her time at Explore, Sara shared that early exposure to hands-on experiences and different industries helped her realize how many paths were possible. She also emphasized how meaningful it was to have a staff that remains invested in students long after graduation.
Her advice to current students:
“There’s no such thing as dreaming too big. Your goals may change, but your drive and work ethic won’t.”
We’re incredibly proud of you, Sara, and excited to see where your journey continues!
