Ms. Godoy is a Spanish teacher at Explore Middle School and a proud alumna of High Tech High School. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education, and is passionate about giving back to the district that helped shape her as an educator. In her classroom, she integrates real-world skills such as collaboration, presentation, and time management alongside language instruction. While she strives to develop her students’ Spanish proficiency, her ultimate goal is to empower them with confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging...the students learning Spanish in the process is an added bonus. Outside of teaching, Ms. Godoy enjoys spending time with family and friends, being with her dog, and dancing whenever she gets the chance.
