Lauren Norcia Is the assistant principal of Explore Middle School, where she has worked for 12 years. Before becoming assistant principal, she was a science teacher at Explore for ten years. A graduate of Montclair State University, she earned her master’s in special education, supervisor certificate, and principal certificate from NJCU. Her goals as assistant principal include fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment, supporting teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies, and enhancing student engagement through collaborative and experiential learning approaches. She believes that students learn best through investigation, experimenting, and collaboration. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling and exploring different places.
