Students in Ms. Bermas’s Math Class recently completed their Percent Project, where they were given a choice of four different project options: Mosaics, Saving Money, Advertising, or Animal Sizes. Each project challenged students to apply their understanding of percentages in a creative and meaningful way.
One standout project was created by Luca, who chose the Mosaics option. Luca designed and handcrafted a beautiful tropical island scene using buttons and beads, carefully arranging colors, textures, and patterns to bring her vision to life. Along with creating the artwork, students were responsible for calculating percentages related to their projects and explaining their work.
Luca’s project is a wonderful example of how math and creativity can come together. Her attention to detail, artistic talent, and thoughtful design truly made this project stand out.
We are proud to showcase Luca’s hard work and creativity. Great job, Luca, and thank you to Ms. Bermas for providing students with engaging opportunities to demonstrate their learning in unique and creative ways!
